Who We Are

Find out more about the Chula Vista Museum & History Center

The Chula Vista Museum and History Center is a non-profit organization established in 2025 to preserve and showcase the diverse and distinctive history of Chula Vista.

From indigenous roots and early agriculture to military families, neighborhoods, and local landmarks, Chula Vista’s history is rich, layered, and deeply personal. Our museum allows us to honor those stories and keep them alive through exhibits, artifacts, photographs, community-centered storytelling and education.

We welcome collaboration from local historians, educators, volunteers, and families to collect and share stories that reflect Chula Vista’s diverse and evolving identity.

The Chula Vista Museum and History Center is a Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation, where admission is free, and is not organized for the private gain of any purpose.
